Professor Emma Rodero, Director of the Media Psychology Lab, established at the Department of Communication, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona, Spain), is willing to receive EoI of potential candidates for the Marie Sklodowska Curie Individual Fellowship (MSCA IF) 2019 call.

Emma Rodero is a professor of Media Psychology, Public Speaking, and Sound Branding and director of the Media Psychology Lab. Here, we study the cognitive processes, emotions, and behavior underlying media interactions (media uses and effects). We apply psychological theories and psychophysiological methods to understand how individuals and groups perceive, process, and respond to the media and technology. Some of our studies have focused on the cognitive processing of voice, prosody, and audio (news, fiction, advertising) in media and health (Alzheimer). Also, we are interested in oral language, especially non-verbal communication, and Virtual Reality. However, our focus is broad, centered on the intersection of psychology and communication, using a psychophysiological methodology.
